Yard Waste

Yard waste is picked up weekly on your designated service day. Yard waste must be contained in paper or plastic bags and does not have to be separated from your regular rubbish.

Acceptable yard waste items include:

• Grass clippings, leaves, flowers, and hedge clippings must be contained in paper or plastic bags and cannot exceed 50 pounds in weight when filled and closed
• Small tree branches and bush branches must be cut to 4-foot lengths and bundled weighing less than 50 pounds

Unacceptable yard waste items include:

• Loose or un-bagged materials
• Dirt, sod, or rocks
• Stumps, root balls, or wood from tree removals
• Construction material
• Commercial material or items from businesses
• Excessive material from large garden or landscaping projects

This service is for routine yard maintenance only. If you have large amounts of yard waste, you must take it to a  compost or yard waste facility. Hours, prices, and specifications are determined by the facility.
